Middle Eastern Belly Dance Classes

Are you interested in trying something new?  Are you interested in trying one of the fastest growing, low impact dance exercises in the country?  Try Middle Eastern Belly Dance classes!  These classes will provide women of all ages and sizes the opportunity to tighten stomach, hip, thigh and arm muscles, while having lots of fun.  There is no prerequisite dance experience required.  Dress includes loose fitting clothing or leotard and a scarf (for tying around the hips).  Ladies ages 16-99 are invited to participate!

Cost: $50 for each 6 week session.

Registration: Participants interested in signing up for the class should provide their name and contact information to the New Holland Rec front desk to be contacted directly by the instructor.

Adult Beginner Tennis

This program will be held at the NH Borough Park's tennis courts.

Pay for 4 weeks for the price of 3! $27 member/$30 nonmember

1 hour instruction: 6:30pm Wednesdays, Sept 8, 15, 22 and 29

Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day is Sunday, September 12.  Facility hours are 12-5pm. All members are invited to join us at New Holland Recreation Center for fun and games with your grandchild or with your grandparent for free.  Your grandparent/grandchild does not have to be members to participate.

• 1:45pm                Obstacle course in the Gym
• 2:15pm                Tube races in the pool
• 2:45pm                Assorted contests in the Gym

Why: To encourage Americans to incorporate 35 minutes of walking or running into their daily routine to improve their overall health!  Come join us at the NHRC for a fun time on mapped out courses of various lengths beginning and ending at the NHRC – members and nonmembers welcomed!  T-shirts provided for the first 25 people!  No pre-registration – just a fun, community event to break up your workday!

 

Volleyball Tournament

One-day co-ed outdoor volleyball tournament Saturday, September 11^th.  6-person team with subs (max 10), one girl minimum on court at all times. Must pay registration fee and submit roster by Friday, September 3^rd. Volleyball League

Tuesday nights starting September 14^th  running through Nov 16^th. 6 people on court (1 woman at all times) maximum of 12 people registered to one team.    Registration fee and team roster due Friday September 10th. Adult Craft Club

Come out with other woman to experience/practice a different skill the 3^rd Monday of each month at 6:45pm. Family Fun Night

Come out the rec for a night of family fun after the rec center closes. Pool, game room, gymnasium and walking track will be open and light refreshments will also be available for purchase.
