Executive Director

We have an immediate opening for an Executive Director at our 52,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility located in New Holland, PA.  This position has primary responsibility for planning and overseeing the development and administration of the programs, facilities, finances and personnel of the New Holland Recreation Center.

The successful candidate will have: a Bachelor’s degree and/or related professional experience, preferably with a concentration or background in the administration of fitness or recreational programs; a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in program leadership, budget development and control, and facility management; and, experience in the recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff, including both paid staff and volunteers.

Afterschool Program - We are looking for mature individuals 18 and older who enjoy working with children.  This will be a daily shift from 3-6pm.  We are in need of a supervisor and a staff member for each site.  No weekend hours.

You will be required to get 3 background checks and also have CPR and first aid training.

Lifeguards- Must be mature and willing to enforce safety rules.  A strong work ethic is required.

Water Safety Instructor-(Swim Lesson Instructor)

Current certification required, American Red Cross or equivalent.

We are looking for mature, friendly, out-going instructors with a strong work ethic.

Flexible schedule- mornings, evenings, Saturday mornings

Fitness Department

Fitness Floor Monitor - Monitors the activities in the fitness center to prevent accidents and provide assistance to members.  The position will involve gym rule enforcement and etiquette, new member orientations and/or assessments, assist members with fitness goals and fitness center cleaning/maintenance.

Specific hours needed: 4:45am to 10:00am Tues/Wed/Thurs
